The Way of Love
Greetings and good morning brothers and sisters. This is Dr. James Perry continuing with our series
where we seek to explore the deeper meanings of our relationship with Jesus Christ. Over the years,
the heavenly Father has revealed many revelations of spiritual truth to me, and I want to share them
with you. This morning we will ponder our lives as we seek to understand the inspired spiritual
message from Jesus on the meaning of the way of love.
And now, sit back and listen to today's message.
The Way of Love
"In the world ye shall have tribulation: But be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
John, Chapter 16, Verse 33.
My Children:
I am mindful of your struggles to achieve the doing of our Father's will, to reveal the love of our
Father to our sisters and brothers. I am aware of the handicaps that you operate under. I know of your
temporal sorrows and your materialistic losses. I know how you have been wounded in your heart
by those you trusted. I know of your struggles to overcome the adverse effects of unwise decisions.
My children, the way that you have chosen is the most difficult way of all but is the only way that
leads to the presence of our Father. It is the only way towards spiritual perfection, the only way to
obey the Father's eternal command to be perfect as he is perfect. My children, I will not remove you
from your life and death struggle. I will not change the material reality you are locked in for that
would cause you to spiritually fail.
There are too many people-in reality sisters and brothers--that need the light you have been able to
achieve. But I will help you overcome all those materialistic difficulties. You can indeed achieve
your spiritual goals, but you will achieve them only with the way of love, patience, mercy, and
forgiveness.
To those who have capacity to know our Father, the Father must be revealed to them. Sooner or later
they will make the eternal choice. You must be willing to exercise more patience. Remain strong in
your faith that truth overcomes error. You must be willing to vigorously counter evil with goodness.
Do not become discouraged by those who question your motive. There is nothing hidden that will
not be eventually revealed. Neither should you be overly concerned with others' motives. Time
reveals and clarifies all. But even so My children, you should understand that your sisters and
brothers are striving to achieve happiness, though admittedly some have chosen unwisely, have
chosen wrong goals and wrong methods to achieve this happiness.
They must be given time to experience the sorrows of error, the disappointments of evil, and the
agonies of defeat. Only when they have become thoroughly dissatisfied with the ways of self will
they seek the way of light. They must be given time to choose between the pleasures of immaturity
and the joys of eternal life. My children, it would neither be kind nor merciful to abandon a
struggling soul while there exists hope that such a soul will choose to live.
Consider my state: I am the Word of God. Therefore I am eternal and perfect. But you my children
must achieve this eternal spiritual perfection through the way that I showed you when I lived my life
in the flesh. And this is through the way of love, by the whole-hearted choice to do the Father's will.
In love and mercy have I ministered to each and all of you. Now, then, would you show your
gratefulness by turning your back on those in need? My children why would you want to deprive
yourselves of that marvelous opportunity and that supreme joy of revealing the Father of Light to
those who sit in spiritual darkness? Remember the higher that you ascend in the Kingdom of Heaven,
the greater is your ability and your responsibility to minster to those who sit at the bottom or those
who have not entered the Kingdom as of yet.
Again, my children, you should discern that the true goals of living are spiritual and not material.
You must cease to harbor material goals in your hearts while you pursue truth with your mouth. Can
you not discern that the reason for your difficulty and frustration is because of your fear of mortal
betrayal, mortal deception? Can you not discern that your lasting disappointments and heartbreaks
spring from making temporal goals your supreme desire? Can you not discern that you only have
spiritual control over yourselves?
Can you not discern that you are stewards intrusted with increasing the value of that which has been
put into your life with loving mercy. Sharing is the greatest gift that you can bestow upon your fellow
brothers and sisters, while helping someone in true distress is the greatest pleasure you can
experience. Sharing and helping unselfishly is Fatherlike.
This concludes today's message on understanding the meaning of the inspired spiritual message from
