Greetings and good morning brothers and sisters. This is Dr. James Perry continuing with our series where we seek to explore the deeper meanings of our relationship with Jesus Christ. Over the years, the heavenly Father has revealed many revelations of spiritual truth to me, and I want to share them with you. This morning we seek to understand how we speak for the Father.
And now, sit back and listen to today's message.
Speakers for the Father
Jesus said, "For whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: For God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him." John, Chapter 3, Verse 34.
Brothers and sisters, in today’s broadcast, we shall understand how we speak for the Father. In First John, Chapter 4, verse 1, we are admonished to believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God, and again we are told that “if we love one another as Jesus loves us, all men will know that we are his disciples.” Thus we have the intellectual acclamation that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, but the more spiritual evidence of the heart that Jesus Christ is God incarnate.
Whereas the tongue may lie, and not reveal what is truly in the heart, the acts of love clearly indicate where our hearts lie, for we know that we will not love another as Jesus loves us unless we truly believe in him. And when the mind and the heart agree that Jesus Christ is Lord, then may we truly speak for him with the mind and the heart. All of the sons of the Father may speak for the Father, through his Son, Jesus and these include the children of man whom by faith may become the sons and daughters of the spirit Father. “Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God.”
And when the Father comes calling for someone to go out into the dark world to reveal his life giving message, then the sons of God, will say, “ Here I am, send me.” And when they embark upon this mission of eternal mercy, the Spirit of Truth will go before them, and the angels of Lord will walk beside them. And the burden of their message shall be: God is your Father, and you are his sons. This message proclaimed by the voice to the mind and demonstrated by the heart through loving acts of service and mercy will convict the hearer.
After revealing to the truth seeker he or she is a faith son or daughter of the spirit Father, the speaker for the Father then goes on to present these new sons and daughters to the Father. Now that the mind phase is completed, then begins the heart phase of slowly and gradually revealing the Father to him by the amazing acts of Fatherly love, by stupendous acts of forgiveness, and by unheard of acts of mercy, revealing the Father over and over again until the spark of love ignites into a blazing fire of love.
Never does this process stop unless the truth seeker should remove himself from the influence of love. Even then the speaker for the Father should continue to pray to the Father, inquiring how he could have been more loving, more forgiving, and more merciful. And when and if the erring soul returns to the Father's love, to claim his spiritual birth right, welcome that soul back with unthinking forgiveness, and joyous mercy, for whereas before he was lost, but now the everlasting light has found him.
And when the hearer of this two fold message realizes what a great blessing has been bestowed upon him, he will rise up to his true dignity, and will turn his back on the evils of the flesh, and become concerned only with the goodness of God in his moral relationships. When he realizes the privileges that this new status bestows upon him, he will worship the Father through His Son, Jesus, and follow after Jesus in dedicating his life to doing His Father’s will. When he realizes that he is to see the Father in person one day as he now sees him in his Son, then he will gladly repent of all known evil and sin. The consciousness of being a son of God is incompatible with evil and sin.
And as the speakers of the Fathers continue to strive to perfect the message in their soul as it is perfected in their mind, striving to always be what they are saying, the crooked river of the soul is made straight, even straight enough to become perfect even as the heavenly Father is perfect as revealed in His Son, Jesus. And so will the speakers for the Father go on from glory to glory, never stopping until they stand in his presence on Paradise, signaling that they have become eternal speakers for the Father.
This concludes today’s message on understanding how we speak for the Father. We hope you find something in this message to ponder and pray about as you go about your day.
Until next time, the is Dr. James Perry
